Border Crossings

Getting Into Lesotho

Maseru Bridge

The main crossing between Ladybrand in South Africa and Maseru, open 24 hours and the most direct route from Johannesburg and Bloemfontein. Most of our transfers use it.

Caledonspoort

North of Maseru near Fouriesburg. We use it for trips to Afriski and northern Lesotho; it's usually quieter than Maseru Bridge.

Sani Pass

The mountain crossing used on our Sani Pass tour. It's 4x4 only on the Lesotho side and open during daytime hours.

Passports & visas

Every traveller needs a valid passport. Many nationalities don't need a visa for Lesotho, but requirements vary. Our visa assistance service will check yours before you travel.
