The Mountain Kingdom

Southern Africa's Highest Playground

Every part of Lesotho lies above 1,000 metres, and much of it is far higher. That means cool air, huge open landscapes and trails that see very few other walkers.

We match the adventure to you, from gentle riverside walks in Ts'ehlanyane to snow days at Afriski and pony treks in Malealea. Your guide handles the logistics, permits and local introductions, so you can focus on the experience.

  • Trips for beginners and experienced hikers
  • Local guides who know the trails and weather
  • Gear advice before you travel
  • Combine with lodges for multi-day adventures

FAQ

Adventure Tour Questions

Do I need to be very fit?

No. We tailor every trip. Ts'ehlanyane walks and pony rides suit most people, while longer hikes and abseiling are better for those with good fitness.

When is the best time for hiking in Lesotho?

Autumn (March–May) and spring (September–November) usually bring settled weather. Summer is green but has afternoon storms; winter is cold, with snow on the high ground.

What should I pack?

Layers for changeable mountain weather, a waterproof jacket, sturdy walking shoes, sun protection and a warm hat. At altitude it can be cold even in summer.
